A Landscape Carved in Corian

Designed as a tribute to Phil Knight, co-founder of Nike, this custom MR Walls installation transforms the geography of Oregon into a sculptural feature wall. Carved into Corian Solid Surface, the detailed topographic map captures the region's terrain through intricate, layered contours, with inscriptions identifying cities and landmarks across the landscape.

Integrated blue backlighting illuminates the waterways, bringing the Pacific Ocean and rivers to life against the carved surface. The contrast between the glowing water and the dimensional terrain adds depth to the design, highlighting the region's natural geography.
