Design objective — The design translates the flowing forms and layered textures of the Palisades sand dunes into a large-scale architectural surface for LAX. The sculptural pattern creates a sense of movement and depth, bringing an organic element into the modern airport environment.
Why Corian — A highly durable, low-maintenance material ideal for high-traffic environments. Its versatility allows for intricate carved details and smooth, continuous surfaces, capturing the subtle contours of the dune-inspired design.
Oakland Airport Check-in Desks
Matching check-in counter faces for Oakland airport.
Design objective — Flowing wave-textured desk faces that line the entire check-in area. The sculptural surfaces create a continuous rhythm along the concourse, enhancing the passenger experience with a modern and tactile design statement.

Airport Elevator Core
A brick-like pattern custom designed for a modern airport.
Design objective — A modular system for a large scale carved surface for an elevator core. Inspired by Pacific Northwest industrial design: concrete gray, wet stone, charcoal. It utilizes the contrast of smooth against textured matte panels in an assymetric composition. Our InterlockPanel system creates a seamless wall surface.
