Morongo Casino's commitment to innovation led us to craft this illuminated parametric ceiling, inspired by the fluidity of undulating liquid-like cubes. To bring this design vision to life, we scripted our own algorithmic software using python for both the designing and the digital fabrication.

The design was carved onto Corian® Solid Surface panels at varying depths using CNC machines, which allows us to create gradients of illuminated texture thanks to the translucent material. The 3D carved surfaces were carefully heated to 320 ºF in order to reform them into the desired shapes. Installed with mechanical attachments over RGB programmable lighting, it creates a mesmerizing and distinctive atmosphere in the room.
